My role was focused entirely on 2D rigging, animation, and asset preparation, transforming static illustrations into fully animated, expressive characters.
My main contributions included:
• Cutting and preparing character illustrations (original artwork by @Pix) into clean, separated layers.
• Repainting and refining cut areas to ensure seamless deformation during animation.
• Building complete Spine rigs with bones, controllers, weights, constraints, and physics.
• Creating a full set of animation states, including: Idle, Happy, Angry, Thinking, Tossing and Shaking.
• Adapting new skins and costumes to work smoothly with the same rig and animation set.
• Ensuring fluid motion, expressive silhouettes, and technical consistency across all characters.
This project was a great opportunity to combine artistic cleanup with deep technical work in Spine2D, pushing rig flexibility, deformation quality, and animation efficiency for all costumes.
